A Flexible Approach to Apprenticeships

As a top apprenticeships agency, SEAC fully understands the need for flexibility so we have endeavoured to make our apprenticeship management service as flexible as possible to ensure that it works for you and your business when you are looking for an apprentice.

Our flexible approach to apprenticeships includes:

  • Providing a full apprenticeship recruitment service free of charge. We will conduct as little or as much of the process as you require - from a shortlist of candidates for interview by you to appointing the apprentice on your behalf
  • Identify apprentice training providers on your behalf. Alternatively, you can use apprenticeship providers of your own choice, subject to them holding an Education and Skills Funding Agency contract and meeting SEAC's quality standards
  • If your business circumstances change, or the apprentice does not meet your expectations, you have the flexibility to return the apprentice to us and we will find you a replacement if required
  • As of April 1st 2018 the Apprentice minimum wage is £3.70 per hour. The rate will apply to:
    - Apprentices under 19
    - Apprentices aged 19 and over, but in the first year of their apprenticeship.
    However there is flexibility if you wish to pay above the minimum wage - we will pay the apprentice as per your instructions.
