A Flexible Approach

SEAC fully understands this and we have endeavoured to make our apprenticeship management service as flexible as possible to ensure that it works for you and your business.

Our flexible approach includes:

  • Providing a full recruitment service free of charge. We will conduct as little or as much of the process as you require - from a shortlist of candidates for interview by you to appointing the apprentice on your behalf
  • Identify a training provider on your behalf. Alternatively, you can use a provider of your own choice, subject to them holding a Education and Skills Funding Agency contract and meeting SEAC's quality standards
  • If your business circumstances change, or the apprentice does not meet your expectations, you have the flexibility to return the apprentice to us and we will find you a replacement if required
  • As of April 1st 2017 the Apprentice minimum wage is £3.50 per hour. The rate will apply to:
    - Apprentices under 19
    - Apprentices aged 19 and over, but in the first year of their apprenticeship.
    However there is flexibility if you wish to pay above the minimum wage - we will pay the apprentice as per your instructions.
