SEAC will endeavour to ensure that apprenticeships provide the best possible experience for both the Hosting Company and Apprentice.
We will commit to:
Employ the apprentice for the duration of their training contract and assume all employer responsibilities. Our service will include screening and selecting potential candidates, identifying a recognised quality assured training provider, providing advice on Health & Safety and dealing with employment essentials such as contract of employment, employer's liability insurance, payroll, annual leave, sickness and any grievance or disciplinary issues
Allocate a named and dedicated Apprenticeship Support Consultant to work closely with the host business, training provider and our employee (the apprentice) throughout their training period
Ensure that the appointed training provider provides all training needs during the apprenticeship
Assume an impartial role in investigating, handling and finding a solution to any issues or concerns from the host company, apprentice or training provider
Be responsible for withdrawing an apprentice, in the rare event they prove unsatisfactory, and finding an appropriate replacement
Provide the apprentice with an initial Health & Safety induction before they join the host company, ensuring that they understand their obligations and yours.
