What It Will Cost?

Our costs are based around what the apprentice is to be paid.

As of October 2011 the Apprentice minimum wage is now £2.60 per hour

The new rate will apply to:

  • Apprentices under 19
  • Apprentices aged 19 and over, but in the first year of their apprenticeship.

You will be responsible for the cost of the Apprentice's wage.

In addition, our charge to you will cover:

  • Statutory deductions
  • Holiday pay of 5.6 weeks (4 weeks plus 8 public holidays)
  • Service/administration fee.

There is no charge for the apprenticeship training delivery for all 16-18 year-old apprentices as this is fully-funded via the Government. However, depending on the specific apprenticeship qualifications and the provider delivering the training, you will normally be asked to contribute towards training delivery for 19-24 year-old apprentices.

The amount will vary between qualifications and providers, but will always be paid direct to the training provider.
