You will provide all-round support to the PE teaching staff at this Aylesbury (Buckinghamshire) school and develop your own skills in a wide variety of tasks. Flexibility and a passion for a wide range of sports are essential qualities for this position, together with confident communication. Duties will include; running lunchtime sports clubs, working alongside qualified teachers in PE lessons, preparation of equipment and kit for lessons and attend intersports events and fixtures either at home or away.
The Advanced Apprenticeship in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Physical Education and School Sport is designed to create a path to enable you to deliver a wide range of sporting activities in a School environment. This is a wonderful opportunity to develop your coaching skills and share the passion that you have for sports. On successful completion of the apprenticeship, subject to business need and budgets, permanent employment or progression to Higher Apprenticeship is realistic.
