SEAC Apprentice won Engineering Apprentice of the Year award

Conor Jenkins is an Engineering Apprentice employed by SEAC on placement with 3M UK Plc, he attends Riverside College to complete an Advanced Electrical and Electronic Engineering Apprenticeship.

“Award winners are recognised for the hard work and dedication they have demonstrated during their time at College, which has allowed them to realise their potential and progress on to Higher Education or promising careers.”

The next award for the Engineering Apprentice of the Year was won by Conor for the following reasons:

  • This student has excelled in his current year and has proven himself to be an outstanding individual with an exceptional eye for detail.
  • He approaches all of his studies with vigour and enthusiasm and produces work of the highest standard. This along with the support given to him by his Company 3M and his peers has allowed rapid progression.
  • Next year he will progress to the HNC in Electrical Engineering

The Engineering Apprentice of the Year Award was presented to Conor by The Worshipful Mayor of Halton, Councillor Ged Philbin, and the Mayoress, Ms Rosalin Wong.
