Having secured an apprenticeship in Kent through SEAC on placement at Brockhill Park Performing Arts College as a School Farm Technician a year ago, Jemima now celebrates her amazing success at completing and achieving her Level 2 Apprenticeship in Animal Care. This has enabled her to secure a permanent position at the school as an Assistant Site Manager.
‘My apprenticeship was more than I could have hoped for and the individualised learning program helped me not only achieved my diploma but also gave me the experience and contacts to jump start my career in a sector which I love and which can be difficult to ingress into.’
Brockhill Park Performing Arts College are also celebrating 6 years of providing support, training and on the job skills development to local apprentices in partnership with SEAC.
The school quoted:
“Having a Farm Apprentice really allowed us to progress our work around outdoor learning this year on our school farm. The programme allowed Jemima to develop an array of skills whilst hands on doing the job. She has been such an asset to us she is now employed by Brockhill as an Assistant Site Manager and will continue her responsibilities on our school farm’
"Fabulous, thank you SEAC for all your support with Jemima as well, the whole Apprenticeship was smooth running and a great experience for both Jemima and myself."
The SEAC team would like to say congratulations to Jemima on her wonderful achievement and a big thank you to Brockhill Park Performing Arts College for providing such supportive learning experiences over the last 6 years, we look forward to working with you again this year.
