Currently employers who pay the levy can transfer 10% of their levy fund to one other employer, such as an Apprenticeship Training Agency (ATA), these funds must be used to fund apprenticeship training and assessment. From early July 2018 it has been confirmed that you can transfer the maximum of 10% of your levy fund to multiple other employers.
The Government has released 7 pointers to help employers prepare for transfers on the apprenticeship service.
An ATA, such as SEAC, can help when you are not able or do not want to employ an apprentice directly. We make it easy for you to take on an apprentice; managing the recruitment, arranging the training and employing the apprentice on your behalf, including taking on HR/payroll and performance management responsibilities. You also get an apprenticeship expert in the form of a dedicated Account Manager who will support you and your apprentice every step of the way. It’s that simple - you benefit from productive new talent in your team without risk or additional administration.
If you are a levy paying organisation please find out more about how you can work with SEAC as an apprenticeship levy paying business.
