This Advanced Apprenticeship in IT includes the chance to develop your analysis skills to make meaningful use of data collected by other teams within the District Council. Along with administrative support you will be entering, manipulating, extracting and interpreting data. You will learn to create charts and reports to look for trends and identify patterns. The statistics you produce will be used to streamline services and improve efficiency.

Working for a District Council can be an interesting and rewarding experience. District Councils cover a smaller area than County Councils and provide more local services. These include; housing advice, local planning, recycling and refuse collection, environmental issues, community safety, parks, community centres and licensing. On successful completion of this apprenticeship, subject to business need and budgets, progression to Higher Apprenticeship or permanent employment is likely.
You will gain a recognised qualification and excellent work experience whilst being supported in the workplace by the staff at the site, a dedicated SEAC Account Manager and a training Assessor.
