The SEAC team are delighted to announce that James Cail, who is a Test Laboratory Apprentice on placement with 3M, has been awarded Apprentice of the Month for June.
Work place supervisor at 3M, David Gurden-Williams, nominated James in recognition of the high standard of his work and commitment:
“We work with flexible working hours and James works to the demands of the tasks given. He has been an ever-present member of the test team working in this unprecedented pandemic environment.”
“During the pandemic (at time of writing), James has been working on pandemic response activities for the product support team. James' commitment to support the team is demonstrated by the feedback received from others in the department. His current activities are making an impact to 3Ms response to COVID-19 on a global level.”
Another Project Leader at 3M also commented as follows:
“During the time I have known James, he has always impressed me with his, strong work ethic, attention to detail, willingness to help others, questioning approach. Since the onset of the pandemic, I have seen him grow and grow. All this and we should not forget that James is an apprentice who has just celebrated (during lockdown) his 20th birthday, for me his accomplishments are remarkable.”
Well done and keep up the good work James!
