The SEAC team are delighted to announce that Chelsea Hourd, who is a Laboratory Technician Apprentice on placement with 3M, has been awarded Apprentice of the Month for March.
Work place supervisor at 3M, Samantha Holmes, nominated Chelsea in recognition of the high standard of her work:
“Chelsea will always complete the tasks assigned to her; regardless of what they are and will complete each task to the best of her ability. She challenges herself and enjoys being given new tasks and new experiences to own. Chelsea raises issues and opportunity for improvement and is always happy to be a part of the resolution.”
“Chelsea has a great working relationship with her colleagues and brings humour to the labs when times are tough. Chelsea is a really thoughtful department member. She initiated the circulation of cards for birthdays, takes a lead in securing leaving gifts and goes out of her way to make sure others are supported if she feels they are struggling.”
Well done and keep up the good work Chelsea!
